A tree lined country road. Besides painting and creating other works of art one of my favorite things to do is drive, simply drive down off the beaten path roads in hopes of finding something out of the ordinary.

Painted in a slightly heavier hand, gotta like the yellow. Really looks like a big space, some times I forget that the paintings are so small.

This painting reminds me of so many small bays up and down the Hudson River. I especially like how the water and sky blend together.

Another small painting that reminds me of home. It is not the Hudson Valley, but the landscape is rich and peaceful.

This image reminds me of the town I grew up in. "The flats", where acres of farm land stood, with a river running through it. Many early mornings were spent there with the smell of corn in the air as I tried to fool a fish or two.

My 12th painting measures 2 1/8" x 3". One of the few with these colors, I just love the somber mood.

It should not be that hard to figure out who inspired this 2" by 3" painting. One of my favorites.

The 7th small painting actually feels big, at 2 1/8" by 3". Again oil on board. I really like the color and value in this painting. Looks similar to a work I made for the worlds smallest canvas show at Hudson Valley Gallery (actually won a prize and sold the piece). That was the event that inspired me to create small works in the first place.
